1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using VoxTube ("the Extension", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VoxTube is a Chrome Extension that translates YouTube video subtitles into a target language and generates audio dubbing using AI text-to-speech technology. The translation is provided "as is" and may not be perfectly accurate.

3. User Accounts

  • You may sign in with your Google account to access the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Free and Paid Plans

  • Free Tier: Available to all users at no cost with usage limits (5 videos/day, 20 min max).
  • Paid Plans: Basic ($9.99/mo), Pro ($19.99/mo), and Unlimited ($39.99/mo) with increased limits.
  • All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. You agree to their terms of service.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically. Cancel anytime through the Extension or your Lemon Squeezy account.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, but you retain access until the end of the current period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or authentication
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
  • Use automated tools to abuse the Service (bots, scrapers, etc.)
  • Redistribute or resell translated audio content commercially
  • Share your account credentials with others

6. Intellectual Property

  • VoxTube and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by VoxTube and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
  • YouTube content remains the property of its respective creators. VoxTube does not claim ownership of any translated content derived from YouTube videos.
  • Translated audio is generated for personal use only. You may not redistribute it without permission from the original content owner.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • Translations will be accurate or complete
  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • The Service will be compatible with all videos or browsers

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoxTube shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Termination

  • We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for violation of these Terms.
  • You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the Extension.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the Extension. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
